Accessible Website Design
An 'accessible website' is one that has been produced so that its content is available to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities, and regardless of the technology that they use. The websites that I produce are not 'flashy' or full of gimmicks, bells and whistles. Instead, they are are designed to provide the visitor with the information that they are looking for in a simple, straightforward way. Although I am South Wales based, given the nature of web design, it is normally possible to work with a client via email and telephone, so I am able to produce a website for you wherever you happen to be based yourself. I am fully insured, CRB-Checked (Enhanced, January 2011, all clear) and have good people skills. Insurance and CRB-Check documents available for inspection.
I typically charge between £200 and £400 for producing websites (no VAT). This price includes all consultation, preparation and design of the website, along with making any alterations to suit you. You just need to provide me the text and photographs, etc. Don't have any decent photos? - don't worry! - I also run a photography business using professional D-SLR equipment. Providing you are within a reasonable distance of my two bases in Swansea and Carmarthen in South Wales, I could take the photographs for you (please see my photography website www.bobgraingerphotography.com for examples of my work.
I hand over complete ownership of the website to you, i.e. I make no claim of 'Intellectual Copyright' or ownership of the site. If you have the skills, then you could maintain the site yourself, if you wanted to. Alternatively, you may prefer me to maintain the site for you. Within reason, I am happy to make simple changes for you for free. However, I would have to charge you for any major alterations. I can also provide you with training in how to maintain it yourself.
I will also configure any website that I produce for you for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I may also able to revamp your existing website, sprucing it up and perhaps making it more 'modern-looking', functional and accessible.
